We have the pleasure of working with these clients for the 2018-2019 academic year:
University of Oregon Housing
University Housing is the department responsible for providing safe and adequate housing and residential learning experiences to students living on campus. Academic Residential Communities (ARCs) were established to improve academic performance and graduation rate of first-year students. The videos we produce are designed to be a communication tool used by UO Housing to help admitted first-year students select the ARC that’s best for them.
Environmental Health and Safety
Environmental Health and Safety, or EHS, is made up of six specialized groups. These groups are devoted to the protection of human health and the environment by growing safety culture across the University. All groups offer trainings, technical safety consultations, assistance in hazard problem solving, and online resources. EHS is here to support you in an injury free and healthy career at the University. What can EHS do for you?
UO Sustainability Awards
A series of 9 videos were created for the UO Sustainability Awards annual ceremony to ceremony. The films highlighted efforts across our campus to become a more sustainable institution.
University of Oregon Common Reading
Building community, engaging in discussion and expanding knowledge are some of the main values of University of Oregon Common Reading Program. We strive to take the central themes and ideas from the 2019-2020 book selection: Under the Feet of Jesus and transform them into a visual representation. With our video, we hope to spark academic discussions among first-year students and act as a bridge that clarifies and inspires a college-level literary analysis.
The University of Oregon annual giving day, #DucksGive, is a 24-hour social media campaign designed to give all Ducks, especially alumni, an opportunity to make an impact for current and future students. Each department on campus is responsible for posting their own #ducksgive campaign. Allen Hall Media partnered with the School of Journalism and Communication (SOJC) to create short video clips for the campaign, as well as a thank you video to send out to donors afterwards. These videos highlight student groups within the SOJC, faculty and research opportunities, and professional development trips in order to show donors exactly where their money is going and the impact it makes.
City of Springfield Economic Development Agency
Manufacturing is a modern and thriving yet misunderstood industry. We are aiming to build community pride about Springfield’s manufacturing sector by photographing employees in their workplace. City of Springfield will use these photos to generate a social media campaign which highlights the narratives of these individual workers to educate the public and attract prospective employers.
Center for Undergraduate Research
CURE is the Center for Undergraduate Research and Engagement on The University of Oregon campus. CURE connects students to research opportunities, provides students with funding for that research, and supplies spaces for students to showcase their research to a public audience. This can range from symposiums on campus to presenting in foreign countries. Our video provides students with information about what CURE does as well as highlight examples of student work to show that research can be done within any major and interest.
